Trinity Child Care Center, 509 Bramhall Avenue, Jersey City, provides a learning environment that helps three- and four-year-old children develop intellectually, socially, physically, and emotionally in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development. Trinity’s classes are small — maximum of 15 children — and staffed with certified Early Childhood professionals and paraprofessionals. Breakfast, lunch, and small snacks are provided.Trinity is committed to providing developmentally appropriate pre-school experiences that:
- Focus on health, nutrition, and social and emotional well-being in a daily program of varied activities
- Develop children’s appreciation of their own ethnicity, culture, and language and that of other pre-school members
- Develop social competence by providing opportunities to make decisions and solve problems during the school day
- Ease the transition of children into primary grades by providing appropriate early childhood experiences
Registration forms are available at Trinity Child Care Center during school hours in the month of March. An applicant must turn three or four years of age by October 1st of that year and must be a Jersey City resident.
Trinity Child Care is an Abbott District school and adheres to rules set forth by the state of New Jersey for such schools. Normal child care is from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. “Wrap-around” child care, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., is available to qualified families.An applicant’s parent or guardian must register in person at Trinity Child Care and bring:
- The child
- Original birth certificate
- Up-to-date immunization record
- Two proofs of address (most recent telephone bill, utility bill, etc.)
- Parent’s photo ID
